On the 12th and 13th of December, RISE is offering an experience in light at A Working Lab near Chalmers campus Johanneberg in Gothenburg. On floor 4 during these two days, visitors will have the chance to explore both therapeutic and migraine-friendly lighting, as well as participate in inspiring lectures about the power of light.

In the afternoon, between 15:00-17:00 on the 12th, visitors can experience the light globe in the Relaxation Room, an installation that offers a pleasant and calming experience in coloured light, created by Karl Ryberg from the Monocrom Institute. Simultaneously, RISE presents a migraine-friendly lighting concept in the rooms Futurum and Spektrum, where visitors can learn more about how lighting can be adapted to alleviate migraine symptoms. Fagerhult, the manufacturer of the fixtures, will be present.

Wednesday the 13th starts with a Lucia procession in the entrance at 07:45. The day then continues with lectures from Thorbjörn Laike, Professor Emeritus in Environmental Psychology, and Carolina Hiller, Doctor of Technology, along with Co-ideation showcasing the screens of the future. They will demonstrate the effects of light on our well-being and sensory experiences. For those who missed the light installations on Tuesday, there will be an opportunity to visit them also on this day between 11:00 and 12:00.
